Area Typecodes

This area will be one of the most frequently changing ones since we will be classifying records in all areas on an ongoing basis, there are just so many possibilities of categories that can be created.

Any area in this database can have an unlimited number of typecodes to classify records. This area provides a place to come to see all of the records that belong to one particular typecode. The home pages for each of the typecodes will thus have a list of links. These pages also act as destinations for search engine hits.

For example, to find all Alberta Slip glaze recipes in the system you could go to the recipe area and search for the term 'Alberta'. But is easier to come here and look up the equivalent typecode, its home page will have links to all of the recipes. Likewise, low expansion materials have a typecode.
