BeO (Beryllium Oxide)
Notes-Beryllium oxide has the amazing property of being a refractory by itself and a flux in combination with other oxides.-The affect of the oxide on glaze or body chemistry is not well documented (although the uses of the actual material powder in applications like thermal conductivity, dielectric strength, corrosion and whetting resistance again molten metals, neutron absorption and metalization are well understood).
