Bentolite® L is a white smectite powder produced from native, colloidal aluminum silicate materials. much whiter burning than a typical raw bentonite, but it is also less plastic, test to confirm the amount you might have to use to see if it is cost effective as a body plasticizer.

In glazes, when used in combination with carboxymethylcellulose, Bentolite provides for improved rheology, solids suspension, glaze adhesion, sprayability, and acceptance rates.

This is less viscosity modifying than CMC gum, Hectalite, Veegum and Mineral Colloid BP.
